Bespoke Asrai Garden Ring - Design Directions
As with all Asrai Garden rings, we cannot accommodate specific arrangement requests for the elements you've selected. Your ring will be hand-arranged for beauty and balance, and will be unique to you. (For more information about the Asrai Garden ring creation process, please see the FAQ at the bottom of the Asrai Garden Ring listing.)
For bespoke Asrai Garden rings, you can request a design direction for the arrangement, to give us a general idea of the layout you would like for your ring.
Depending on the number and type of elements you've selected, along with ring size and the size of your stone, your design direction request may or may not be possible. We'll let you know if we expect any issues.
Linear
A linear arrangement will have the elements of your Asrai Garden ring arranged along the band, placed tightly. The arrangement may still be asymmetrical (with some elements, it will have to be) but the general design will follow the curve and line of the band.

Clustered
A clustered arrangement will have the elements of your Asrai Garden ring arranged around the centre stone, focused on the top centre of the ring. Sprawling or branch-like elements like Narcissus Leaves, Magnolia Branch, and Cherry Blossoms lend themselves particularly well to this type of arrangement, but it can be possible without them (such as by using large flowers like Peonies). Negative space may be used to achieve an aesthetically-pleasing design.
If your Asrai Garden Ring only contains scattered-stone type elements (Moss, Diamond Dewdrops, Lilacs, Buttercups, etc) it will not be possible to create a clustered arrangement; we need something to place them on. Using Narcissus Leaves to provide a framework we can place the stones on works great!

Asymmetrical/Organic
An asymmetrical/organic arrangement will be more unique; it may have elements arranged unevenly on the top and bottom of the band, or with more flowers on one side than the other. These rings will generally be left to the designer to determine the best arrangement for aesthetic and flow, but if you have a specific request (such as the wave-type arrangement in the 0.69ct Pear Sapphire bespoke ring below) please be sure to let us know.

Other Options
Linear, clustered, and asymmetrical/organic are the three design directions you can request when ordering a bespoke Asrai Garden ring. If you have no preference for how your ring is arranged and/or do not specify with us before placing your order, the elements of your Asrai Garden ring will be arranged based on our designer's discretion. She will carefully consider the ring size, stone shape and size, and elements you've selected to create a beautiful arrangement.
If there is a specific Asrai Garden ring we've made in the past that you would like us to reference when designing your ring, please send us photos. It is not possible to perfectly recreate an Asrai Garden ring, but we can reference previously-created rings to make you a similar arrangement.
