1.10ct opalescent turquoise sapphire with yellow glow in an oval rose cut, measuring 7.82 x 5.94 mm. This stone has visible inclusions; please see the description for more details. Beneath the sapphire, there is a hidden 0.17ct marquise cut natural diamond, giving the sapphire incredible sparkle.

A one of a kind treasure; the veil of the sea. Like sparkling bubbles rising through a tropical lagoon, a hidden diamond shines beneath the opalescent facets of a rose cut sapphire. A completely one of a kind ring designed especially for this sapphire, with a secret at her heart. We must emphasize that once sold, this ring cannot be replicated!

Clarity: This stone has a large mineral inclusion that is visible, with some zones of dark colour. There is a surface-reaching inclusion in the form of a hair line (see photos). The stone is secure in its setting and is stable.
Please note that the inclusion has been taken into account and is reflected in the price of this one of a kind ring.

All of our pieces are entirely hand crafted in our Toronto studio by our small, talented team. Laurie hand-carves every design; they are not 3D modelled on a computer and 3D printed— this includes our bespoke pieces. Each one is carved from wax, polished and stone-set by hand.
Every piece is highly considered at every angle and carved from wax to perfectly compliment the stones that will be set. We don’t use pre-fabricated, mass-produced settings made for fitting various stones and solder them on. Every setting is carved in-studio, in our signature style with special attention paid to how it will frame the stone and overall design, and how it will wear. Every small detail, down to our claw-shaped prongs, are shaped meticulously by hand.
