Of ancient magic, like an enchanted elixir. Deep plum and alive with vibrance, the Maeve is a completely one of a kind solitaire ring with a 2.40 carat cushion cut opalescent sapphire from Sri Lanka. The stone is a rich violet-plum with flashes of red and pink, and subtle peach sparkles that surface unexpectedly depending on the light. Eight of our hand shaped claw prongs cradle it reverently like a rare treasure, upon a soft satin-finish band.

Cut: Cushion cut, faceted by a master lapidary artist in an ultra-precision cut
Colour: Rich plum purple colour with flashes of red and pink throughout and subtle peach sparkles
Clarity: Internal silk which gives the stone its opalescence and slightly milky with small black inclusions slightly off-centre, but they do not detract from the stone's beauty and are difficult to notice at a standard distance

This One-Of-A-Kind ring is built off of our Peach Band, with an overall ~2mm round profile and an evenly-spaced 8 prong setting. It also features a custom Satin finish on the band with a High Polish centre stone setting. Over time, the Satin Finish will naturally gain a more shiny patina through wear.

All of our pieces are entirely hand crafted in our Toronto studio by our small, talented team. Laurie hand-carves every design; they are not 3D modelled on a computer and 3D printed— this includes our bespoke pieces. Each one is carved from wax, polished and stone-set by hand.
Every piece is highly considered at every angle and carved from wax to perfectly compliment the stones that will be set. We don’t use pre-fabricated, mass-produced settings made for fitting various stones and solder them on. Every setting is carved in-studio, in our signature style with special attention paid to how it will frame the stone and overall design, and how it will wear. Every small detail, down to our claw-shaped prongs, are shaped meticulously by hand.
